Adjunct Associate Professor Steven A. Schmied is an experienced Non-Executive Director, who also acts in governance and advisory roles. Steven is passionate mentor, who enjoys assisting organisations and individuals achieve their goals. Steven is a Chartered Fellow of Engineers Australia, who is a recognised expert in the definition of new capabilities, formulating acquisition strategies, tendering and negotiating the contract, and the managing the subsequent implementation of the project. His clients include State and Federal governments and associated industries, both within Australia and overseas. Steven has been the project manager, engineering team leader, and senior engineer for major defence (Australian and other) and other projects.
