My objective as a board member is to contribute the skills and experience I have gained in the community and education sectors especially in relation to organisational governance, business development, operations and leadership. I have a deep seated interest in social justice and social inclusion especially in relation to children and young people and can contribute my experience, skills and knowledge to assist with strategic planning, corporate governance, risk management, financial management, media and communications, fundraising, cultural awareness, political lobbying and integrity and ethics. I am comfortable with social entrepreneurship working collectively to tackle deep-seeded social issues through new (social enterprise) business models and can bring my networks to the table to assist in the development of an organisation
