Global Non Executive Director

I am an international Non Executive, Executive Director and finance professional with over 20 years board level experience across APAC with particular expertise of the banking, securities trading, superannuation, retail management industries. I am currently a Non-Executive Director of Queensland Treasury Corporation (“QTC”) and a member of the Accounts and Audit Committee and the Human Resources Committee. As the Queensland Government’s central financing authority, QTC plays a pivotal role in securing the State’s financial success. With a focus on whole-of-State outcomes, QTC provides a range of financial services to the State and its public sector entities, including local governments. Current assets are more than AUD$100 bil. Previously I was a Non-Executive Director of Credit Suisse Securities (Malaysia), ranked 6th on the Bursa Malaysia with revenues exceeding A$17bil from securities and derivative trading. I was also a Non-Executive Director Credit Suisse Securities (Philippines) with revenues of A$ 3bil. For both boards I was a Member of the Audit Committee. In an executive capacity as the senior Operations Executive accountable for all operational matters with the local regulators in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities & Futures Commission I was a member of the Committee responsible for oversight of operational risk for Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Branch & affiliates. In these roles I can demonstrate expertise in the management of operational risk, business transformation, procurement and strategy development for large and complex financial processes and high volume transaction processing across multiple jurisdictions. I have been invited to participate on several industry groups including the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association Post Trade working group and the ASIFMA Steering Committee for the Shanghai Hong Kong Connect implementation - a major industry initiative between Hong Kong and China and the Omgeo Advisory Board. Finally, I have an MBA and am a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
