I am a Chair, Non Executive, Committee Member, Director, senior executive and corporate banking and finance professional with over 20 years board level experience across the commercial, government and not for profit sectors. Some of my experience includes: • Immediate past Chair of the Perth Market Authority (to Nov 15) and past Chair of their Finance and Audit Committee. • Advisory Board Member of an Agriculture Cooperative Research Centre at the University of Western Australia. • Advisory Board Member for the Western Australian Department of Agriculture and Food. • Member of the Minister for Agriculture’s National Competition Policy Review. • Member of the WA Government Fisheries Advisory Council • Member of the Australian Banker’s Association Advisory Committee on Water Reform in Western Australia. In an executive capacity I can evidence a strong corporate banking, finance, commodity and agribusiness exposure with a number of Australian and global banks. I am also director of our family company Chartwell Consulting, which invests in and has conducted advisory work with commodity production and trading, renewable energy, carbon sequestration, water infrastructure and food production. I am currently engaged as a senior commodity finance specialist with a global bank and work with miners, agribusiness, energy producers and commodity traders across the Asia Pacific region. Previously, I have held roles responsible for leading large teams in Western Australian and South Australia with organisations such as the Australian Wheat Board, Wesfarmers CSBP, Rabobank, and HBOS & CBA. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Economics, Post Graduate Diplomas in Financial Services and Business and I am a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
