I am a Non Executive Director, Chair and Finance & Audit Committee Member with over ten years of board level experience across the public, commercial & not for profit sectors with particular experience in the resources and infrastructure industries.
At board level some highlights include being a current Chair of Westernport Water, a Victorian Government water retailer and ATEC International, a start-up social enterprise providing bio-digesters to rural Cambodians. I also have experience as a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of ASX Listed African Energy Resources Limited, as a Non Executive Director of City West Water Limited and Chair of Engineers Without Borders.
In an executive capacity I have over thirty years of experience with BHP Billiton and was most recently the Vice President of Resource Development for BHP Billiton Coal responsible for target identification strategy, acquisitions, feasibility studies and major project development of global opportunities. Prior to this role I was the Vice President of the Health Safety Environment & Community for BHP Billiton’s coal operations with a focus on improving mine safety and environmental performance in developing countries and environmental design in new projects. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. I have also completed the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
