I am an experienced Committee Member, Board Member, Chair, Director, successful author and training & development professional with almost 25 years board experience at both committee and executive level. Since November 2015 I have served on the Board of Regional Development Australia (Sydney). Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a nation-wide initiative between the Australian, State and Territory Governments to advance sustainable economic development and social equity within Sydney’s Regions to: Identify and advise Government about needs and opportunities within Sydney Facilitate the development of new ideas with key industry or community partners Support the implementation of economic, social and sustainable development projects My primary executive experience was as Chief Operating Officer/Board Director/Owner of Bridge Business College. Here I built the business from a modest beginning to be one of Australia’s most popular RTOs for over 15,000 international students with a turnover of $40 M and remaining at profit for 14 years. I also won 22 competitive Federal government tenders for Employment Skills training, and generated $1 M in funding. As such I can demonstrate growing small businesses and working closely with boards to facilitate exit strategies. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Business Studies with a major in Human Resource Management, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Education and a Diploma of Public Relations.
