The Role

ACOR Consultants seeks to appoint an experienced Non-Executive Director to join their Board, starting 1 July 2026.

This is an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level to a respected engineering consulting business with strong foundations and clear ambition. They are looking for a Director who will provide independent oversight, constructive challenge, and insight as they scale, innovate, and strengthen their market position.

As a Non-Executive Director, you will:

  • Contribute to Board governance, strategy, and risk oversight
  • Support management in shaping and executing our growth strategy
  • Strengthen board capability in areas such as AI adoption and the use of technology to deliver results.
  • Offer independent judgement and robust, values-based leadership

Selection Criteria

  • Previous Non-Executive or Board experience (essential).
  • A demonstrated background in technology, digital transformation, or technology-enabled business models.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — commercially astute, opportunity-focused, and comfortable with growth environments.
  • Strong governance capability and strategic thinking.
  • The confidence to provide constructive challenge while maintaining strong working relationships.
