Mohan Aiyaswami

CIO of Tennis Australia

I am a Chair, Advisory Board Member and Digital, AI, Technology and Cyber Security professional (CIO) with almost two decades of board-level experience across the sports, entertainment & gaming, logistics, software & technology vendors, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, government – federal & state industries and deep technical expertise, commercial acumen, and ability to govern risk, investment, and organisational change. My executive career spans leadership roles as CIO, CTO, and CISO, where I have directed technology, digital, data, and cybersecurity strategies for prominent organisations such as Tennis Australia, Tabcorp, Toll Group, Optus, Australian Defence, and Coles Myer. Most recently I served as CIO for Tennis Australia and Founder Director of a non-profit. My key achievements include: enhancing business performance through modernised platforms and cloud adoption; delivering critical ERP and logistics systems for Toll; and driving ARPU growth at Optus via automation. Furthermore, I supported Coles Myer’s market position with integrated supply chain and data initiatives and established risk-based cyber operations for Defence and commercial sectors. Throughout these roles, I have managed investment portfolios, negotiated major contracts with global vendors like SAP and Oracle, maintained system availability within Defence, and led workforces through large-scale organisational change. At board level I guide business growth by ensuring an organisation’s governance, technology investment, and modern technology practices are in place. I do this by driving the scaling of innovation, digital, data and technology capabilities and associated large-scale transformation and business change. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), am a Graduate Member of AICD and have completed the Advanced Leadership & Management Program.
