● At board level I help organisations mitigate risks including governance integrity and legal risk, to make a greater impact. I do that by setting and enforcing governance, risk, and company secretarial frameworks; assurance on legal, regulatory, and reputational matters; and overseeing safety, shareholder, and joint-venture risks.
● Executive roles include Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for entities such as the Brisbane Destination Consortium (leading company secretarial/legal support through restructures, buy-outs, and finance extensions) and special counsel at Queensland Rail. Previously General Manager, Legal and Human Resources at Abbot Point Operations and Bowen Rail Corporation, and General Counsel and Company Secretary at Brisbane Airport Corporation, where I managed billion-dollar projects (e.g., runway construction, greenfield rail operations), and led integrated legal/insurance and managed complex commercial/ADR matters.
● Holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Medical Science, Master of Taxation, Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance, and is a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course. Also completed professional development in Practice Management, Negotiation, Strategic Leadership, and Emerging Leaders.
