I am a Director, Chief Finance Officer and Finance and Audit Committee Member with over two decades of board-level experience and particular expertise in Manufacturing, Higher Education, Not-for-Profit, Management Consulting and Public Sector. At board level, what I do is drive strategic business growth. I do that by leveraging my knowledge in strategy development and implementation, management planning and control, cost management, growth planning & implementation, business turnaround, auditing, accounting, financial reporting, governance, relationship management, leadership and mentoring. Board-level highlights include: Director and committee roles for University of Wollongong, University of Technology and Deloitte. In an executive capacity, I am the Founder and Director of Adding Value Management Services. Here I lead business turnaround projects and advise clients on finance strategy development and implementation. As such, I restructured the manufacturing costing system to identify the cost drivers of a manufacturing company and reviewed the asset life cycle strategy for an infrastructure Corporation. In addition, I am an Accredited Consultant at Catalyst Business Performance Consulting, where I provided special needs financial advice to support 80% growth in income. Previously I was a Partner at CFO Advisory Group, contributing to a 200% revenue growth in 3 years and developing a 3-year planning model. Earlier, I was the Director of Finance Services at the University of Technology and the CFO at the University of Wollongong. Finally, I hold a Master of Business from the University of Technology, I am a Graduate of Stanford’s Advanced Financial Management Program and a FCPA.
