Board Direction on behalf of Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia (Sydney) seeks to appoint two(2) Non-Executive Directors.

About the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (Sydney)

The Sydney Branch of the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA Sydney) is Australia’s largest and most established sporting shooting organisations, representing approximately 40,000 members across metropolitan Sydney.

The Branch is affiliated with the state body, Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (NSW), and forms part of the broader Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia national network, which advocates for the interests of licensed firearms owners and promotes safe, responsible participation in target shooting, hunting, conservation and related sporting activities.

The organisation is currently completing a significant governance transition from an incorporated association to a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. This transition presents an exciting opportunity to strengthen governance arrangements, enhance strategic oversight and position the organisation for long-term sustainability.
